Shot in the foot
In this time-sensitive moment and as you look out upon the world from the Philippines to Russia, to Washington DC and our port security to Iraq and Iran and beyond, what are you internalizing? Are you actively seeking a neutral point of observation? Said another way, are you making the choice to have nothing unacceptable and really sticking to it? Our Elder Brother said that in the world we would have tribulation, but then cautioned not to enter into it...especially when it is not physically knocking on our door and we have to go out of our way to allow our chain to be pulled. Why? Remember what the emotions of anger or resentment or their 1st and 2nd cousins do. They leave their unique trail within the consciousness of the one who embraces them, and that doesn't help the acceptance of our greater good which has been given. In other words, we shoot ourselves in the foot...not the one toward whom we have feelings of anger or resentment, but ourselves. We deserve more.
