Happiness

"Everything that I think that I need to do is all only in order to propel me to some place that when I get there, I think I will be happier. So, everything that I am doing, no matter what it is, all of my lists of rights and wrongs... are all about me getting to a manifestation that I believe I will then be happier... So, why don't I take a short cut and just go get happy?" Abraham

Pretty well says it for us and our journey... Unity has forever said that happiness is a choice...a cause, not an effect. The various things I have read and heard from Abraham amplifies this and in effect says that we are only in one place at one time, and in this wonderful moment of the now we can either postpone happiness or choose to at least move toward whatever definition of happiness we each may hold. To the little voice that might be rising up within that says, "Can't do it," can we at least entertain that the reason that we think we can't, or that it is challenging if not downright impossible, is because of pre-conditioning that things or events cause happiness or sorrow? Mind or thought is the originator of all experiences. So it is possible to make an adjustment in our perception of happiness being a choice. Abraham then says something further. They would say that it is only from within the vibrational quality of happiness (joy, peace, acceptance) that we will rendezvous with all the marvelous and wonderful things that we desire to experience...not from within anger, frustration, sorrow...the vibrations just don't match up. Move to happiness...if not all the way at this moment, at least closer?

We are glad to be home after a cruise-vacation that took us around Cape Horn, South America--from the Pacific to the Atlantic.
