What If

"When you play the What-If? game, look for things that make you feel better. There is never a situation in which there is not a way out—but, out of habit, most people continue to choose the "lack" perspective until they eventually find themselves where it seems that there are no more choices. But as you hold to your intention to look for evidence of Well-Being and thriving and success and happiness, you will tune yourself to the vibrations of those things—and so those kinds of good-feeling experiences will dominate your life." Abraham

Another way of saying it is playing the "Won't it be wonderful when" game. There is always a choice for something better in our lives...in our journey. But, we have to be proactive on the positive side of things. Bemoaning the what isand telling that story over and over again is a version of proactively, but not the helpful version. Why "lie" and tell the story of what we want to do, be and have when what is is the opposite? Somehow we got to the what is that we don't like by stirring around in vibrational energies that were a match to what now we bemoan. Abraham tells us over and over again that the only thing set in stone, so to speak, is joy, and it is joy that brings everything else into focus in our lives that speak to abundance, wellness and fulfillment. What better story can you begin to tell?

Time and Money

"If you are feeling a shortage of time or money, your best effort would be to focus upon better-feeling thoughts, and do more things that make you feel good. Your time is a perceptual thing, and even though the clock is ticking the same for everyone, your alignment affects your perception, as well as the results that you allow.

"As you observe the enormous differences in the effort that people apply and the results they achieve, you have to conclude that there is more to the equation of achieving than action alone." Abraham

As some hear this idea presented they have said things like, "I need more money, not a reaching for a thought that feels better...I can't deposit a thought into the bank." What if (and Abraham says this is what is happening) it is the focus on not having enough time or money, that carries with it resulting thoughts that don't feel good, that is the energy blocking the manifestation of more of something we truly do want to do, be and have? The vibrational energies of what is wanted must match with the vibrational signature we offer to the universe for replication. If our focus is on the not having, then this is what we are continually asking for more of. Chill. Pet the cat. Laugh more. Re-read the last sentence in this week's quote.

Matching

"The Universe is not discriminating about the rightness or the wrongness of your request. It is here to accommodate all requests. All you have to do is be a Vibrational Match to your request, and the Universe will yield it to you." Abraham

Perhaps this is why we often hear what amounts to a caution for us not to shout "no" at something we may not want, for because the Universe "reads" only the focus of our attention this, in essence, becomes a request that is in some vibratory fashion fulfilled. Better to just briefly acknowledge something...some contrast...that we don't want, and then quickly move our focus to what represents what we want to do, be, have and experience.
